Feb. 15th, 2016 12:50 pmDear Mr. Barton,
As per your recent conversations with Mr. Worthington, please find attached the proposed contractor offer.
The position is for a six-month term, beginning February 16, 2016 and going until August 16, 2016, with the opportunity for an extension. I think you will find the suggested salary to be more than acceptable.
I would highly suggest you have the contract looked over by your legal counsel; but I think you will find the terms most appropriate. In essence:
1) A signing bonus of $250,000
2) An expense account of $500,000
3) A six-month salary of $75,000
4) Real estate signing authority of $1,000,000
Terms 3 and 4 are negotiable. The rest are not.
I expect to hear back within 48 hours.
Sincerely,
Jolene Chambers, on behalf of Warren Worthington III.

Jesus Christ. I think I just got us that riad for Colette. And maybe a couple other places. Anything in terms one or two you think I should negotiate? I do actually have to buy a place in Hell's Kitchen and make it livable. Ish. You know Matt won't take it. I'm thinking safe houses. Without telling the bro.

What deal with the devil did you make?
Also, I do have a place in Hell's Kitchen that we could give to Matt? Backup backup that escaped the legend burning.
Don't see issues w/1 unless you want more money to just sock away for a rainy day (Cause I expect you to sock that in one of your various emergency funds). How often is 2 going to be emptied?
WeYou shouldn't burn through all of that too easily but this is Worthington. Could get away with asking for more but again, 500k. It should provide plenty to work with.End Encryption

I called him an asshole for firing Matt and told him I'd punch him in the face but I was buying emergency jewelry for my girlfriend so I couldn't. Then I told him to buy the place for Matt. Then I told him to give it to Foggy. Then he wanted to know if I wanted money for jewelry or real estate, so I said both because hello. Billionaire offering me money of course I'm going to take it, I'm not stupid. And then I realized my ex-carnie was showing and there was no way Matt would appreciate me or Worthington meddling in his life so now I've got a contract for millions of dollars and no real idea what to do with it.
Except that we can get safe houses wherever especially the riad, and if I have Matt look over the legal stuff it's like. Not lying, right? He can still use the places if he needs them and like you said, there's that place in Hell's Kitchen that didn't get burned with the rest of your safe houses, anyway, that he could crash in if he needed. It's just not commercial, so it wouldn't work for his lawyering.
I'm squirreling most of this away. Places abroad aren't all that expensive. And I can put a big chunk into our backup backup We're Fucked funds.

Your ex-carnie has saved both our asses on many occasions. And yes, no turning down money from billionaires, ever.
Yes, we've done less on more flimsy excuses. Having a lawyer look all the paperwork stuff over would be good for us all around. Especially being one in the family. We could scoop out an appropriate property for him and then plots ways for him to inherit money and end up buying it. Long con when it comes to your brother.
Yes, to all of that. Good plans. Definitely can't have a shortage of all those options.

Okay, I'll get things worked out all official-like and have Matt check them over. He's not into property law, but maybe he knows somebody who knows somebody. Only for the foreign purchases, though, because I don't want him getting twitchy about Worthington. You know how weird it is, the guy firing Matt and, less than a week later, hiring me as a contractor? Ugh, that guy.
Long cons on Matt. This is gonna be hilarious, if it works.

Billionaires is my only explanation. They live by different rules. And us, being the smart ones, use that when we can.
And if it works, there's no telling him for years. So he can't resent us for it 'cause he can't. Because it's exactly what he needed at the time.

Miss Chambers,
The aforementioned terms are acceptable. We can revisit term two ($500,000 expense account) via addendum should it become necessary, given the cost of real estate, materials, and labor in New York City.
