From: [toil and trouble]
A bit late, but I've been cleaning up various messes to do with last week's Slendering. So you got a break from the inevitable, but now I had time to go over what Topaz told me happened, and have my nervous breakdown, and it's time to talk about what we're going to do from now on.
First up, good job, Topaz, Billy and Megan. You got the X-Men in and the kids out and no-one got too banged up. Thank you for taking in the slack - I swear these things wait for me to go on holidays or be out of the country or whatever.
Second... Clea and Stephen. I know you're probably expecting a bollocking, and no doubt the Gen X mentors have already done that, but you won't get it from me. I wish you'd waited long enough for back up, but I understand the feeling of trying to help your friends. Hell, I've even jumped into a portal into an unknown dimension myself and it'd be pretty hypocritical for me to start in on your for that. And Clea, smart thinking in letting Topaz know what you were going to do. That probably saved all of your lives.
What I am going to do is step up training. Specifically, offensive and defensive spells. Like the rest of us before you, you're going to be magnets for all sorts of mystical trouble, as well as the mutant kind, and there's no point telling you to keep clear - it'll just keep finding you. So we're going to be making sure you can take care of yourselves, and of anyone you're with. It'll need more work, and you'll probably call me a slave driver by the end, but think of it as your "punishment" for going off half-cocked.
Next week's class will be going over all the info we have on Slenderman/Slenderchildren/Slender-what-have-you, since these bastards aren't going away. My notes on them from the last time and what I was able to dig up research-wise is attached.

Yes. I understand that we should had waited, but two against all of them and I don't think they would think highly of me if I used magic on them to hold them still.
Can we go over portals as well?

It was a wake-up call that I could use some training with my magic. I know I've been resisting it, but at the same time I feel I can do a lot more.
