So I talked about a team type thing with Jennie a while back, but since we've been (accidentally sometimes) working together for a while now, what with Alaska and the fish people and the rage stick, I figured I'd toss the idea for a team thing to you guys, too. Fair warning: I kinda might've already tossed the idea at Julian what's his face. He didn't seem impressed, but he did say he'd maybe give us money.

I'm down for leather, but also figure it's not a prereq, like for the X-Men and everything. What do you guys think? Maybe it'd be worth it? I mean, at least then we could get paid for dealing with random science-y crap, ancient tech, and Asgardian baby WMDs. Yes? No? Maybe so?

"Deal with" in what sense? Like an action/adventure consulting firm? "Hey, there's this mystical portal in my cellar, can you get rid of it?"

I mean, probably not mystical portals, that's what the magic folk over at XF do, right? But like. If something like that falls in our lap, I don't suppose we'd actually turn them away. I dunno, something like that, yeah. Maybe. That's what the 'make it official' schtick is for, right?

Right? So I guess getting things sorted is a good idea. From there we can bring in everybody else who's helped us out in one way or another. Or at least offer to bring them in? Sure, sounds good.

I can get in touch with Scott to see what he thinks about all this. Maybe he can give us some pointers for how to get the whole thing off the ground.

I can offer questionably helpful suggestions on how to build a team. I wouldn't listen to me.

But I can also suggest people who might be interested and that might be worth listening to me about.

I am always going to listen to you for forever because you're smart about things I'm not smart about and you can toss me out windows. It's just good sense to listen to you about everything and then maybe selectively ignore things that won't get me killed. Or possessed. Or something else awful.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Hey, guys. My brother's DD (he's lying about the leather, he totally wears red spandex) (okay, no, because spandex is good if you augment it with other stuff but leather's better for the kinds of fights he gets into) and I'm actually pretty good at tweaking weapons and stuff. I've also got friends who can help out with whatever kinda stuff you might want in your suits, if we do this thing. Yaaaaay! Right? Yes? Anybody? Bueller?

Dude no. There is no WAY black would actually blend in well enough to move through Hell's Kitchen without people being able to spot you. I mean, it's a DARK red, right? But all-black would stand out too much.

I mean, you want the whole long answer that involves you being really smart with words and me not being that and then you having the majestic healing factor of awesome and also super senses that I also do not have? There's combat training and experience in hostile/combat environments and you have a solid planning head on your shoulders? Oh, and you're good at talking, too. Like, communication stuff.

Cause yeah, those are good reasons, but for reals, you're good people. You're funny and cool and you work well with all these other weirdos on this email who're involved in this team-like potential thing. Which I know cause you didn't mind coming with me to Alaska and you were totes there for the fish people thing and also you managed to whammy Matt when we went all ragey.
