Dear all,
Firstly, my apologies for the delay in coming back to you with a result, but the energies involved were very complicated and required much study... However, that is neither here nor there and I won't bore you with the details.
The children, as far as Ms Wisdom and I can tell, are safe. Their disappearance appears to be connected to the incident in Iceland last week - the magical signature is the same. As for where they have been taken.. well, my studies point to the a number of ancient Norse myths, namely those concerning Asgard.
There is, unfortunatey, little I, or any of those present, can do to retrieve them. The children are resourceful, and as I said, I believe they are unharmed, so I hold the utmost hope that they will manage to return to us in time. In the meantime, Ms Wisdom and myself will continue our investigations and making various enquiries of our resources.
Any questions can be directed to myself. I hope this helps relieve some of your (and my) fears.

Date: 2004-08-09 02:34 pm (UTC)I said there was little I or my associates could do at this time to retrieve them. However, I have received certain information that will assist greatly, and I am pursuing other avenues - magic, unfortunately, is a lot more difficult than a certain Ms Rowling would have you believe.
As for how it is possible for them to return to us... well, besides my student, there is also Ms Rasputin, who has far greater magical knowledge than she has previously let the school know, as well as many magical resources in Asgard itself. Between them I am certain they will discover a way back, and if they do not, Ms Wisdom and I will.
