Dear Ms. Storm,

Thank you for the aid with the research into Downing Inc. However, I suspect I will encounter the need for such research skills again. Would you be willing to give me some more suggestions?

I did some research online and found several tips for starting journalist into doing research in a company, which was helpful, but I am mostly trying to get some insight into understanding the structure of a business in itself. The nuts and bolts, so to speak.

Got a favor to ask. At XFI I am currently learning more about doing research into companies and businesses, along with doing some research of my own in how to tackle that. Would you be willing to sit down with me and give me some tips as well. I strongly suspect it will not only come in handy for my work at XFI, but as well for my service at the Hellfire Club.

Id be happy to help you understand the structure of a business. Would seeing the nuts and bolts of it help you any? I can arrange a few tours through businesses so I can show you the structure and the nuts and bolts. Or would you prefer something more detailed and long term?

Also, Ms Storm is my...it's a little formal don't you think? I'm Sue, for things like this anyway, if you want to get a pay rise then I'm Ms Storm again. (If you forget, well I control the roster, there is always stakeout duty with Quentin.)

I did to see quite a bit of how one company can run during my time at KI, so I have some idea what the nuts and bolts can look like.

But what I most lack is the framework to put all the little bits and pieces together into a coherent whole of how a business is structured. So perhaps we can see about the framework first?

Hmmm, the best way to look at that is with some practical experience. But I've seen your schedule and that's not going to happen right now.

I'll tell you what, I can pull a couple of old projects from work, businesses that have dissolved now but came to us for investment and we can take them apart. But you're buying the pizza.
