Hey, you two.

Very glad to have you and the others home again. You lot gave me quite the scare. I still owe you both a dinner, I think - let me know when your stomachs are feeling up to it, and I'll see if Sarah feels up to joining us. She's still feeling a bit rocky - having Miles go poof definitely didn't help, but it did get her out of the basement, so it was a blessing and a curse, methinks.

I also owe you both hugs, regarding the 'missed you and worried sick' aspects of things. Yes, you too, Manny. I don't think Amanda would tell anybody that I hugged you, if we asked her nicely. (Especially if I mentioned that Bethany swung by the other day and left some of her mother's chocolate chip cookies in her room, with a 'call-me-call-me-call-me' note on them. I get the sneaking suspicion she may have missed you, little sister.)

On a less happy note, though.. I do need to talk to you about Alphonso, Manuel, when you're free. Nathan met him, it went somewhat phenominally badly, and I know word of it is going to get back to the Black Court - but I want your opinion on how you think it will go, and what we need to worry about, before I go and talk to Charles about it. Let me know when you're available?

First, welcome back.

Second, that beard was hilarious, and I am vaguely sad I didn't get a picture of it before you shaved it off.

Third, Bethany dropped a few pages off the other day - HeLiX logos. There's about a dozen of them, she wanted you to be able to pick and choose between them. Let me know when I can swing by and pass them off to you. Some of them are really kind of neat.

Sir,

Nathan told me about his meeting with Manuel's father. I'm going to be talking with Manuel about it, once he's up for it, and once I have a better grasp of what our fathers would be likely to do with the information gleaned, I was wondering if I could come up and speak to you about it.

I also had a thought regarding Sarah, but I can cover that one in an e-mail just as easily, if your schedule is as swamped as I imagine it might be.

Rock on. I'm just calming down enough to wonder what the hell the last week did as far as backlash for Columbia, so you and Bethany get accused of amazing timing. Swing by whenever you've got a minute, because I always do.

And I'm not at all sad you missed taking pictures of the beard. They'd make their way back to Kitty eventually and I don't want her to scream and run away. :)

Aww, you city boys don't know the meaning of a wake-up. Get back to me when you have to get up at four in the morning to stick your arm up to the shoulder in a cow uterus because your hands are smaller than your mom's. ;)

And . . . okay, point. I rephrase to "screamed and refused to let my face anywhere near hers until I shaved it off," which is almost as bad.
