They got him, Dom. Fuckers took Moira this morning, traded her for Nate. Leather suit bridage went in with Nate to get her, and they did their best, but they got away with Nate in spite of everything.

I've got Culley going to ground while we catch our breath - if he's not anonymous then having him nosing around the list of places Nate and I came up with is going to be too fucking risky right now.

Frankly, I'd like you to do the same, but I suspect I know how well you'd take that idea right now. Two obvious choices, then:

One: Get back here, get involved in whatever we come up with here.
Two: Keep doing what you're doing, only really fucking carefully.

I'd prefer option one, but that's sentiment talking. Two's probably more useful - we badly need to get an idea where these bastards might have taken him.

I've dropped Bridge a mail as well, just to keep him in the loop.

Fuck. We're in Afghanistan, we can't get out of here for at least a week.

Did Nate ever mention Anika Bender to you? Ex-Mistra, first-gen operative - she broke her conditioning in the same way he did. Dom and I helped him extract her last year. I'll give her your email; her sources in Mistra are seven years fresher than Nate's, and unless she's playing a real deep game, she's trustworthy. In case mine doesn't get through to her - we're at the ass-end of nowhere and I'm just hoping this gets to you - the last secure address I have for her is ab1245@345.281.312.

Keep me updated. I'm going to try and wrap things up here ASAP and get us back to Berlin.

You're fucking right I'm not going to ground. Unless you actually think I can be more useful back there, I'm checking out the rest of these leads before I do anything else. They know damned well who I am at these point, and if they want to take me on, they can feel fucking free to do so.

If I don't hear from you by morning, I'm heading out; I'm in Whitehorse right now, getting ready to check out that facility from those satellite pics. I'll be back in touch in 72 hours at the outside.
