Sweetie, are you alright? Manny came up to my room tonight, so I know something is going on, but I want to hear both sides before I take anything as the gospel truth. I'm letting him crash in Marie's own room while he pulls himself together.. can I come see you later? Take you out to lunch tomorrow, maybe, do the listening thing? He said it would be okay if I talked to you about it, so he didn't do anything half-informed..

Sirs,

I'm worried about Manuel - and in a very heartening display, so is he. He's hit a pretty nasty rough spot in his relationship with Amanda, and he's asked me to keep him from rushing off and using his empathy on the people involved, so I'm letting him stay with me until he trusts himself again.

He didn't want me to involve any doctors.. but I'm very, very worried, and I wanted to err on the side of caution, especially since he's just as concerned as I am. (Hank, if you go to his journal and check the post he made right after returning from Asgard, you'll see why we're both concerned - the dampener's not working anymore. He doesn't want it fixed, though I did ask him to please consider it as a safety net..) Do either of you have any advice for us?

You sound like you could use a little time away from here, and.. well, okay, so it's me wanting to spend time with you and give you a shoulder and ear if you want them, but you do sound like you could use a little time out of the house. What do you reckon?
