I assume you mean Barton. And in that case, tell him to sit tight. We're already looking into the situation and him nosing around on his own doesn't help. Worse, he could find himself over his head and without backup very quickly. Even worse than that, he might get in the way of our own investigation, and then I have to kill him. If we need his help, we know where to find him.
As for Lewis, she's taking time off and doesn't want to be disturbed. She's safe. That's all anyone needs to know right now. If she wants to talk to anyone, she'll contact them.
I will try. Getting him to listen to reason is like rock and immovable object levels of futile. There is usually a reason I end up roped into the shenanigans and all back up plans are moot/optional.
Understood. I hope she's up for coming back to the mansion when she's ready and able.
There's more going on here than we know. And he should know that cowboying off on his own is just dumb from an operational perspective. If we have to mobilize in order to try and pull him or you out if you get in over your head is risking other people for no reason. If I have to tell him 'pretty please' and beg so he doesn't do something dumb, I'll do it, But if he endangers any of my people in order to placate his own ego, no one is going to like the consequences.
