xp_communicationWe invite you to take part in a community art exhibition, for mutants, by mutants! Artists are invited to submit works in any medium. All media are eligible, including but not limited to: painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, drawing, textiles, sculpture, digital art, mixed media, film and performance art.
Deadline for entries: March 28, 2022
Exhibit dates: April 1-3, 2022
(The cost for admission to the event will be $5 or 3 items for the District X Food Bank.)
With each submission, please include the title of your piece, artist name (may be listed as "anonymous" if desired), a brief description and price (if it is available for sale). You may also include an artist statement.
We are also looking for volunteers to help prepare the venue (including for accessibility), advertise, as well as provide assistance and cater food during the event.

All four pieces are oil on canvas.
Title of the Series: Mutants In Life
First piece will be titled "A Mutant At Study". The artist is Peter Nicholas, the description is "A young mutant woman studying for an exam", the price will be set at One Hundred (100) US Dollars.
Second piece will be titled "A Mutant At Prayer". Artist is Peter Nicholas, the description is "A young mutant man in communion with his Creator", the price will be set at One Hundred (100) US Dollars.
Third piece will be titled "A Mutant At Leisure". The artist is Peter Nicholas, the description is "A young mutant woman eyeing the surf", the price will be One Hundred (100) US Dollars.
The fourth and final piece will be titled "A Mutant At Pedagogy". The artist is Peter Nicholas, the description is "A young mutant male grading his class's homework", and the price will be One Hundred (100) US Dollars.
There is no statement from the artist at this time.
I am also willing, as a visible mutant, to donate my time to not only meet-and-greet with interested parties but also to act as security should it be needed.
