I had my fitting today with magic clothes machine in the basement. Very handy, now I should not destroy wardrobe when I need to transform.

Had a question about the uniforms, though.

Avengers wear bright, colorful uniforms. People love them. X-Men wear black. Intimidating, scary, badass. People do not love us. Think we are up to no good.

Maybe we might want to, how you say, reconsider approach?

The Avengers include:
1. One of the richest and most media savvy billionaire playboy geniuses in the world
2. An actual god who is shockingly camera friendly
3. An honest to goodness American icon and legend from a nostalgic time
4. Are legally supported by the government and the UN
5. And have a massive media and PR machine to back them up.

The X-Men, on the other hand;
1. Have no legal standing whatsoever
2. Maintain secret identities so no one knows who we are and where we come from
3. Are mutants, which a few years ago, were the source of a massive amount of death and destruction globally on M-Day
4. Like it or not, get our pro-mutant agenda confused with Magneto's mutant extremism
5. And we don't answer to anyone.

So, just saying, I don't think couture is the main difference between how we and the Avengers are seen.

Man you know I think this is a good idea. Lets wear a big fuckin' american flag like Captain Fucking America.

I mean okay no, lets not do that but yeah, lets like. wear blue or something. Calming blue.

The black also helps us to blend in, no matter where we are or what we're doing it's relatively easy for a black-clad figure to go unnoticed, which has saved our lives more than once in the past.

I do not wish to sound too morbid, but in addition to the points raised above, the current design also has the benefit of being relatively easy to clean and not showing blood stains too badly - I imagine that more colourful uniforms would need replacing a lot more often.

It really does. Or white...I could go for a white uniform but it would show every stain...something for team science to work on!

white would badass. but completely not stealthy unless we're in snow. and I do not want to be in that much snow.

and hard to clean, yeah
