I've been reviewing that last round of training exercises he did, and really, I'm not seeing any reason to keep him off the active roster. His powers are testing out in more or less the same basic range as before he left, he's in good physical shape, and what he needs to be focusing upon now, I think, is integrating into the tactical unit.

So I think we should push him in Charles' direction for the psych eval and see if one of the doctors can spare an hour to run a physical, and then work from there. Thoughts? We can always pick carefully when it comes to when and how to deploy him until we're satisfied that he's integrating well, but I really think he needs to be training with the big kids now. We're the only ones really capable of pushing him out of his comfort zone, which is obviously where he needs to be heading...

Nathan's subconscious may be a fair bit smarter than he is - I would say this had just occured to me, but now that I think about it it may not really be news to any of us. Regardless, his post about his dream has got me thinking, particularly in relation to something Manuel mentioned earlier. I'm starting to think this new weirdness in his brain may be related to the Askani, somehow, although I've no idea how. The whole thing sounds crazy but, given this is Nate we're talking about, does it sound like the right sort of crazy or do I need to be spending even more of my hours off shift sleeping? Or both?
