For those of you who I have not been introduced to as of yet, I am Marie-Ange Colbert. I am also Amanda's roommate as of last week.
I am growing increasingly concerned at her emotional state. She is unusually calm lately, which, if you are aware of the incident that happened here Sunday, is rather unsettling. She has also been .. I do not have a better word than sneaky. She is hiding something. She is acting very, very oddly.
I had it confirmed to me that she was seeking solace in alcohol, and I fear she is also overusing magic. I cannot tell for certain myself - I hope I am wrong, I hope the person who told me was lying for the sake of petty revenge.
I do not want to break Amanda's privacy, but I am very worried and concerned.
I also should apoligize - Ms. Wisdom, Dr. Strange, I had to go to a third party to get your email addresses. I did not intend to violate your privacy either, but this seemed urgent.

Date: 2004-08-31 06:56 am (UTC)Thank you very much for the notification - I've been concerned about Amanda, but had little to go on. She has been, as you have put it, been very sneaky, to the point of making herself impossible to find this afternoon when I dropped by to check on her.
Moira also told me of Sunday's incident. I cannot say how disappointed I am. She knows better than this. Ms Wisdom, I believe a conference between ourselves, Doctor MacTaggart and your brother is required. This needs to be addressed, now.

Date: 2004-08-31 07:01 am (UTC)I should have seen this coming. What with Columbia, and Asgard, and recent events involving Nathan, I should have realised Amanda was reaching breaking point. Unfortunately I was called back to England before I had a chance to fully satisfy myself she was all right.
Pete, I'm trusting your judgement on this one, since mine is obviously too distant. If you feel Amanda could benefit from a return here, let me know and I'll make the arrangements.
