I can't find your email anymore but I get the vibe that if I don't reply you won't let it go.

I had a shit time at school. I can't figure out if you think I don't get my VCE because I'm a visible mutant or because you know Ive been to jail.

I didn't finish school but im also not interested in a ged.

I don't need a human education and certificate to prove that I'm smart. And then what. Would I have to go to some seppo uni that I'm not even allowed in and panda to all the humans and show them that im not a scary mutant even though im purple? And then how would I pay for it and what job do I get?

Okay so like first, no big. Like I hope I said no pressure it's just my entire job to make sure anyone who wants to do formal education knows options exist and what they are. Can't know without asking and putting it on the table.

First question - I guessed, because jail time is great for losing a chance to do school. I got summer school for 2 years to make up for mine.

If seppo is separate then there's no mutant-only universities yet, but the Xavier Institute is trying to make that happen. If it means American like google says, legally they can't discriminate but it is hard as fuck sometimes - I almost lost my chance to student teach because of some asshole trying to say mutants couldn't.

Like, if you're interested and have time I would like to talk to you about what you think a mutant education would look like. I try to ask anyone whose education got interrupted for mutant reasons since Sooraya and I are working on a ongoing project to improve education for folks who want it or need it, and the more we can make it mutant focused the better. Can be informal, I'll spot you for burgers or something, or you can drop into my office/classroom here whenever, if the door's open I'm in and there's usually snacks.
