I had another session with Kevin Sydney yesterday. I still haven't figured out how to use what he tried to teach me last time, so he said I had to learn to shapeshift like a normal person and use makeup.

I ordered some things and I've been watching tutorials but I can't figure out how to make myself look like he did. I took a picture before I washed everything off and I can tell the colors aren't right, but I can't figure out what the correct ones are. I think they're red or orange-based, maybe, but I can't see those hues. I asked Match for help but he calls gray "dark white". And Liam made fun of me.

If I don't learn how to do this Kevin will think I'm not taking things seriously. He said it's not worth teaching me anything else until I prove I can contour.

You are the best person I know at makeup. Can you help me?

I've got you, babygirl. We'll do an in person lesson on contouring; I'll help you choose from what you already own, or we can go to Ulta and I'll help you choose some items, and we can start with demonstration and memorization.

Then we can find some influencers with different levels of sight to further learn from. They must exist, and we'll find and learn from them together.

Thank you!! I need to get this right. Kevin thinks I'm blowing off the training, but I really have been trying. I just haven't figured it out yet. I've always been able to shift. Trying to do it differently is like trying to find a different way to wiggle my toes.

I should have told him I was colorblind, maybe, but what he was showing me was so complicated I didn't even think of it until later. I still don't understand how color correction works. Why are there so many brushes?

Also I poked myself in the eye with a mascara wand.
