I was in the file room a couple of weeks digging of what information there was of the Ancient One and The Masters. I complied it into a more readable format and filled in missing information on dated documents. These files will be considered living documents as I will be updating them as I go. I'll will be still be spending time at Karma-Taj for additional upper training and I will continue to maintain that connection with them. This also contains a map of the interior and exterior

P.S. I put a minor hex on the documents in case anyone outside of X-Force reads them.

P.S.S. Doug, I have a digital file for you. I gave it to Cata and told her to bring it you. It is located on her collar. Let me know when she arrives. She should be there in ten minutes or less. Text me and I'll give you the passcode cause it is encrypted.

How specific is the hex?

Do you need to update it if we have new team members?

What is the plan for sharing information in these files with other teams or organisations?

If I copy information in the file, will the recipient be hexed, or does it apply only to the original?

If you are unavailable, can other people update or remove the hex?

Do you need to present a plan to similarly update and hex the rest of our files? This is hardly the most sensitive material we have on hand. In other words, what makes this one specifically worthy of additional security?

Our relationship with Kamar-Taj and the Ancient One is on their sufferance. While I want as much intel on them as possible, that leaking outside of the shop could have negative repercussions for us. Your questions are worthwhile clarifications, but the extra security step is worth in overall in my opinion.

And there might be a time when the reward outweighs the risk. Or maybe Clea gets taken out on her next job and suddenly, Topaz and Amanda have to dehex this stuff.

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to be informed before junior staff decide to start hexing materials, particularly if they haven't - and maybe Clea did, I've been off duty for a few days - cleared the parameters of the hex, and established things like new users, how other people can remove it and the in place of emergency processes.

Our relationship may be on sufferance but I don't believe it is more sensitive than others we have and security decisions about materials are typically not made unilaterally. If the risk is high enough to spell these, she needs to talk to us about doing all of our materials, as it suggests that the remainder of our security measures are not up to scratch.

Whilst your concern regarding internal security is valid, I also would rather not get hexed - Please refrain from referring to your co-workers as "junior staff". We did not diminish your contributions when you were training, we are not repeating it for newer members.

I understand your concerns. The hex part was supposed to be joke part but Mama Duck and Topaz will be able to revert it, if needed, now they know what to look for. Magic has traces and this one has my signature on it. It will just turn the papers, primarily the layout, blank.

I just wanted extra security on these ones because I, personally, don't want Ancient One to find out.

If your plans are to shares these with the other teams, that should be fine but the less people know about the intimate details the better. I figured XF was good enough to have these information stored. I made it so that anyone who joins XF and has been granted the rights to the files will be able to view them.

Maybe hex is too strong of a word.

Can I request that 1) you discuss these things before doing them going forward? We do not make unilateral decisions regarding information security. 1a) that you also discuss them with Amanda and Topaz specifically? 1b) be more precise in language, particularly in circumstances like this and where terms like "hex" are used.

2) If you feel that the ramifications of the information becoming leaked are sufficiently serious, then please let us know so that we can make appropriate decisions regarding it and your continued safety as an asset.

3) At the risk of being pedantic It will just turn the papers, primarily the layout, blank. Can you please confirm that the text will be blanked out as well? I work in images. I - or anyone with a camera - can do a lot with text that has minimal formatting.

4) They're aware of your relationship with us and by extension that you're reporting everything back to us.. Can you please ensure that the dossier includes details of all the people who know about your relationship with the mansion and with us and their relative threat levels?

1) Of course Artie. I didn't mean this would be a habit going forward. Just for these files specifically. Going forward I'll discuss this with the rest of the team if we want to do these on other documents. Your concerns are valid.

2) Please don't share this information outside of XF unless it has been agreed upon as a group.

3) Whatever is on the paper will be blank. Text, Pictures, handwritten notes.

4) I am way ahead of you. They know I am associated with the mansion. I am unsure how much they know about my involvement with XF. I don't have access to their files, but I will always assume they do know. I've marked their threat levels by stars. One star means a minor threat, and five means major threat.
