I can do decent bedside manner. Do I need to do anything special while I'm with her? Or not do anything, by the same token? This is admittedly a new situation for me, but I should be able to handle it if you give me whatever warning I may or may not need.

Not discussing doctors, medicine, ex-boyfriends/fiances, and Catholicism should see you in the clear. X-Box is good. Racing games are good. Dresses are good. I'll leave you a credit card and you two can shop online if nothing else. She may sleep, though.

She's not usually this mood-swingy and childish or angry, it's the damn antipsychotics they loaded her up with. You know how long those take to clear out. I just... nevermind. Not talking about it now or I'll put a hole in the wall or something and I don't want a lecture from Cain. I'm going to need to take a trip up north and beat the hell out of Walter one of these days. That's all.

Once you're back, I'm cooking you dinner. Again. And once her system's had a chance to get rid of the antipsychotics, I'm taking you out to dinner, and I'm not taking no for an answer. You're getting some pampering, damn it, if I have to hogtie you in order to get it done.

I like anyone who can see where hogtying fits into pampering. And at this point, I think I'm out of pride with which I can argue against you cooking me dinner. I haven't slept since Friday night. I think I'll try tonight, she's doing better and I don't have to watch her all the time. (Don't fuss at me, I don't need to sleep more than a few hours a night, that's normal for me. I'm okay, but I won't be if I keep this up.)

...I can't believe my sister clocked my roommate with a desk. I can't believe she's here. I keep expecting I'm going to wake up.

I won't fuss about the lack of sleep, unless you start having some very obvious problems.. but I trust you not to let it get to that point, you lovely, intelligent man, you.
