Scott got drunk and posted all on his own like a big boy. I'll call him on his actions, like I call you on yours and vice versa. Just like he'd call us on ours if need be. We're all grown-ups and the breast beating isn't necessary. Communication on the other hand, works out fine.
No making drunken posts is, yeah, I'd say a good way to go about things.
You don't owe me any apologies. Not me. As to whether it'll help to apologize to anyone else who might be owed one and who that might be... that's up to you to evaluate and act on, if you're sure it will help. But you don't owe me a thing in this. And right now I don't know that an apology will help anything at all either. The mess is out there.
And you're not going not like the next.

To my knowledge, there wasn't any breastbeating involved. I may have reacted a bit sensitively on the matter, but at the time, it did seem appropriate. Especially with the amount of outcry against Scott and his inability to defend himself at the time.
Agreed. And it hasn't happened for some time now. And as, Scott has only recently made that discovery. I'm sure that in the future, there will be no more outbursts of this kind. I don't think the damage is anything that can't be repaired, but I'll keep that in mind.
You're right. I don't like it and I don't think that has anything to do with the matter at hand. What I do on my personal time is my business. When I do it and how many times isn't your concern. And unless, I'm harming a student with my activities, I'll ask you not to bring up the matter again.
