YES, Gibney, I am from Colorado. And yes, there is all -kinds- of freaky shit in Colorado, radioactive or otherwise. Can you be a little more specific? Colorado's kind of a big place, and I can think of at least four sites with radioactive histories off the top of my head, and that's just the non-covert ones.

HOKAY. Looks like you're out in Larimer County, near one of the old Atlas silos. After a bit of digging, it looks like the DOD used it as a cover for a lab doing research into applications of gamma radiation (You know, the stuff that made the Hulk all green and smashy). Looks like the lab was supposed to get RIF'd a while back when the Pentagon cut a lot of its gamma research funding, but the commanding general, one Reginald Fortean, still lives in the area and is still listed on the gamma research org chart.

Could be General Fortean never stopped experimentation the way he was supposed to? Looking into his financials a bit, he's still spending like the salad days - there's a possible connection to Advanced Idea Mechanics or some other shadier organizations, but it'll take some time for me to peel that onion.
