Has your computer eaten you? Has it taken you over and made you into a half-computer half-man?
You have not left that room in days except to go to class. I am starting to get worried. No. Actually, I am -very- worried.
Do you think you can remove yourself from your computer long enough to go get a new vest for your tuxedo for the dance on Saturday?
I would come over and just poke you in the arm, but I tried that and I think you responded in one of the languages from Asgard. That, or perhaps something from that television show with the blue people. It was not very intelligible.
Love, Angie

No, the half-man half-computer is Mr. al-Rashid. If he ever says "BOOYAH!" though, I may fall over giggling.
This is the class where I complain about wires _and_ semicolons. Semicolons are everywhere, even in this class. They're worse in C++, but they can mess you up in Verilog too.
I vote for the blue one, personally. But I can get vests to match both if you'd like.
Well, I'm guessing the one with the lizard people and the very bad hair would be Babylon 5. :) So I'm betting the bald blue people is Farscape.

Do not let him see you saying that. I think he is cranky too much.
I think if you keep talking about wires and semicolons and whatever a Verilog or C++ is, that I may hide under my bed. Or just decide you have learned a new scary language.
The blue one is probably better for cooler weather. I can wear a shoulder wrap with it and it not quite so .. I do not know the word. Light and made of material that floats.
I do not know. There is the show with the blue people and the show with the bad hair, and the show with the man with the bad, bad beard and the robot and the genius boy who reminds me a little of you. I cannot keep track.
Which one has the fake swearwords? That is the one I meant.

I don't think he's that bad. I imagine having various parts of your body burned off and replaced could make you kind of bitter, but he seems to deal well with it.
In a way, I have learned a scary new language. Verilog is a language. Granted, it's a language used to describe computer hardware, but still.
Airy? Fluffy? And shoulder wraps are good this time of year. It can get chilly at night.
Show with blue people and bad hair - Babylon 5
Second show - Star Trek: the Next Generation
Man with the bad, bad beard - Commander William Riker
The Robot - Commander Data
Genius Boy - Ensign Wesley Crusher, the most famous Mary Sue ever
The show with the fake swearwords is Farscape. :)

Date: 2004-09-23 03:01 am (UTC)I do not think it is Airy or fluffy. It is definitly NOT fluffy.
And the show with the captain who we see with pants off is Firefly, yes? I like that one.
Re: ...
Date: 2004-09-23 03:09 am (UTC)And maybe gauzy is the word you're looking for?
And yes, the show with the captain who spends an episode naked in the desert is Firefly. It's also the origin of some people calling Mr. Summers "Captain Tightpants".

Yes. Gauzy! That is the word.
