I'm still kicking myself about not being around when she needed me earlier, but thanks for taking up the slack, Ali. I'm headed back up to our room to see how she's doing.

Once I figure out what my reaction to having a dragon on campus is...

I wasn't all that much help, really. Just saw her off when the taxi got there. Hope things go well when you see her.

It's a small dragon. Just go from there. It's the big ones you really want to worry over.

Things are settled down, somewhat. A case of straw meet camel, I think. Thanks any way.

As for the believability of dragons... I'll take your word for it on the size issue. Dragons haven't really been a feature in my life experience until now...

Yeah, figured as much. Happens to all of us, at one point or another. Took her longer than most, actually.

Weren't part of mine 'till Asgard. That place gets you exposed to a lot of stuff all at once, though. Not the first spot I'd recommend for a vacation. Or the second. Or the third... you get the idea.

See, when it was all over there in Asgard, it was easier to deal with. Now the utterly fantastic is bleeding into our nice, safe reality - it's one thing for a bunch of students (and teacher) to return suddenly from what they claim was a magical kingdom with dwarves and trolls and gods and dragons and the like, it's entirely another to actually have proof that dragons are real. I wouldn't be believing it myself except for the whole magic whammy in Iceland and the fact I've been watching a witch magically heal people in my medlab for the past six months. As it is... well, I won't be cooing over Kitty's new pet just yet. Need my own time to adapt. ;)
