RedEye: Hey, little brother. Was hoping I'd catch you.
Kauwela Nalu: Well, finally got Lorna home and to bed. It took some convincing but, well...So what happened with you bro?
RedEye: I was really glad to hear about Lorna's mother.
RedEye: And what do you mean?
Kauwela Nalu: She's going to be fine.
RedEye: Excellent. I'm sure Lorna's really glad you're there.
Kauwela Nalu: And you know exactly what I mean...so what's this about you going into the city and coming back, what did Rahne say, "with quite a few bruises and a good mood" and no bike? DUde, I knew you were going to crack, but boy did you!
RedEye: Oh, I just went out for the evening. No biggie.
RedEye: As for the bike... it went off to have a torrid affair with a Harley.
Kauwela Nalu: Did you just make a joke? What have they done to you while I've been gone?
RedEye: Personality transplant. Didn't they tell you?
Kauwela Nalu: Someone should have! I am the little brother after all, I like to know when they mess with my big brother's personality. So is this permenant or just untill you realize work isn't everything?
RedEye: Oh, work is still everything. It's not a full personality transplant.
RedEye: The part where I care about what people think is off for a vacation in Tahiti.
Kauwela Nalu:Well the rest of you better be ready for a vacation in Hawaii. No amount of work is getting you out of that!
RedEye: Once you get back we'll start to plan that.
RedEye: See? Still me.
Kauwela Nalu: I won't be convinced untill I can annoy you and get the proper annoyed reaction in return. Or untill I see your layups again, I still cringe at the thought!
RedEye: I promise, no more pool hustling until you get home.
Kauwela Nalu: The least you could have done is waited untill I got home so I could see it for myself...or take me with you
RedEye: Hey, the pool we can do under more controlled circumstances. You didn't need to see me and the other guy going ten rounds, though.
Kauwela Nalu: Oh really? What, can't stand being macho for the little brother? 'fraid it would ruin your hodad image back at the school?
RedEye: No, just didn't think you needed to see my head get bounced off a pool table three times in five minutes. *laughs*
Kauwela Nalu: Did I mention I could be back up? *innocent grin*
RedEye: Next time, then.
RedEye: I can't believe I just said that.
Kauwela Nalu: Wow they really *did* do a number on you! And I don't worry, I'll remind you every chance I get!
RedEye: I know. Believe me.
RedEye: I think I need to go to bed before I start making more wild and potentially alarming promises. :) And you know, I actually think I'll sleep tonight...
Kauwela Nalu: you better, anyway i better go check on Lorna and make sure she hasn't tried to sneak back to the hospital or something. G'night bro
