Madelyn,
Scott will be delivered unto you in the medlab something late in the evening.
What would it take for you to stuff enough sleeping meds in his coffee to keep him out for a day at the very least? Feel more than free to rope Moira and Cecilia in this, by the way.
It'll give us the time we need to raid his computer and redistribute his work load properly, y'see? And make him sleep some. I'll come by later in the evening to check up on things...
Thanks,
Alison

Hey there,
I'm going to be running around like a maniac late into the night. Possibly very late into the night. Would you mind it much if I brought Miles over to the boathouse, before I started the whole running around like a maniac thing?
I won't worry, that way.
Thanks
Alison

No problem. I think Jamie's bringing him down to play in the leaves. I'll just grab him after they're done and sit him down and teach him to play poker like the big boys.

And here the idea was for me not to worry. Seriously though, he likes jujubes as stakes. A lot.
...
Ororo's knocking at my door. Oh boy. Gotta go!
Alison
One doctor, at your service.

I've been threatening him with Prozac for the last week and asking that he talk to Charles about the state of his brain. I'm guessing that hasn't happened, from the shouting today. Count me in.
Maddie.
Thank you thank you thank you...

Even though he's going to kill me for this. Make sure my corpse is pretty at my burial?
Thank you again

You'll miss me...
Date: 2004-10-10 05:48 am (UTC)...
That was just about as melodramatic as I can get right now. Not bad, still.
Alison
I applaud you
Date: 2004-10-10 06:44 am (UTC)Breakfast tomorrow? Without you having to bring me 'round first? Can't face a day of death without a last meal...
Maddie.
I do very nice curtsies...
Date: 2004-10-10 06:48 am (UTC)Is Scott still sleeping? And if I bribe you with chocolate banana waffles can he sleep through breakfast as least?
Ah. well. As the saying goes... "Tomorrow is a good day to die."
Wait. That's today now. Back to reading files me.
(What time d'you want me to show up with food, oh Medically Inclined One?)
Alison
I believe you. Don't get up.
Date: 2004-10-10 07:08 am (UTC)Ahem. It's late, isn't it?
Show up... when you feel like it. I'm down here until 8am, and then it's Moira's turn.
Maddie.
You are an unending source of kindness.
Date: 2004-10-10 07:12 am (UTC)Hrm. Fancy that. You know how many files I have left to read? I can't stop. Trainwreck fascination. Also, I don't want to sleep right now.
Should be down 'round six or so, although I will bring extra waffles then, so that Moira can have some when she gets in.
Alison
Just what the doctor ordered...
Date: 2004-10-10 07:42 am (UTC)Kids always have the best ideas for food, I tell you. Remind me to inflict my kid sister Carlie's Death by Several Types of Chocolate muffins. Chocolate muffins, with white and dark chocolate chips, and chocolate frosting. Instant diabetes, but so very, very good. And you didn't hear the doctor recommending such an evil thing, oh no... It was my evil twin!
Okay, perhaps time to set the alarms on various machines to make God-awful noises when they go off and try and nap on the sofa of doom.
If lack of sleeping persists... well, you know where to find me and my happy fun sleepy shots. I'll see you at six. And Moira will adore you forever if you give her waffles too - you aren't buttering us up for something, are you? No major injuries or anything planned?
Maddie.
Chocolate is the cure for all ills...
Date: 2004-10-10 07:37 pm (UTC)Those chocolates sound like something that would send a person on a mad demented sugar rush. Keep them away from Miles? He's already hyperactive as it is, sugar rushes are just plain scary with him sometimes.
Have a good nap and I'll come see you if it gets to that. I hate sleeping pills though. A lot. You may have to nag or corner me.
And trust me, I'm planning on staying as far away from having valid injury related reasons to visit the medlab as I can. The whole blowing up thing just isn't my gig, y'know?
See you for breakfast!
Alison
