Maddie? Shan? Precious, lovely, wonderful islands of sanity? If it turns out those things really were demons, could you help me find an apartment near my campus sometime veryvery soon? Please? Something within spitting distance of this place, because I would miss you two like you (and I) wouldn't believe, but somewhere not in this building?

If it was just a mutant with delusions of grandeur, I'll be okay. But if it was demons, I really need to get the hell out of here before I go completely insane. The dragon did a good job of loosening my hinges already, I really don't think my nerves can take any more of this.

Anything you need, roomie, we're here. And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it does look like we had a demon infestation. Old acquaintances of Illyana's, by the looks of it.

You know, I'd join you if I could? But on call means just that, and it's easier to get to medlab from upstairs than from off-campus...

We'll talk soon, all right? I'm just cleaning up, be up there in an hour or so. Have the aspirin ready.

I'd rather get the bad news from one of you two than anyone else - you don't get exasperated when I have a freak-out about this stuff, and it's more comforting than you probably know. Thanks, Maddie.

You know, actually.. I think I did know that. Huh. Damn commuting. Maybe we should ask Hank to invent a teleportation device for you real quick? I know I'd love the company, if I could have it.

Aspirin is ready and waiting, honey. We have plenty - in this place, I buy in bulk.

Hey, sweetie. I think it was actually a demon -- I'm kind of startled myself, to be honest. It was pretty big. And purple.

If you're that freaked, and you think it's best for you to leave, then I'll definitely help you. Do you want to do me a favour and take a few days to make your decision, though? Just after a huge shock is not the best time to be making big choices. Trust me on that one.

I'll be by in a few minutes, if you're still awake -- I'll bring some caffeine and sugar, if you want?

Coming here was a decision made after a huge shock, so yeah, I tend to agree. But.. this stuff keeps happening, and Kitty's announcement had me half-convinced I had gone insane. Honestly. So.. I think out is good. But I'll wait for a day or two before I decide to start packing, for you.

Trust me, I'll still be awake. Please come by. The company of my favorite people is very good. Maybe with some tea? Nice, soothing, relaxing tea?
