I don't know if you were watching the news today, but if you were, you'll probably understand. I need to go back to Los Angeles for a few days, as soon as possible - there's something going on in my old neighborhood that shouldn't be, and I think I might have a chance of stopping it. I need to try, at least. Can I have permission to go this weekend?

If the Professor agrees to it, I'll be going back to Los Angeles this weekend. There's some business there I need to take care of if I can - I'll explain more when I see you all. This is something I need to do, I think, and I'd like for you all to go with me if you can. Amanda, I'll understand if it's not possible, since you'll either still be in Istanbul or not back long, and I don't want to drag you straight back out on the road when you're still jet-lagged. ;)

If I'd gotten this before a bunch of emails last night from He Who Shall Not Be Named To You, I would have braved the jetlag and come along any way. But, something's up with him, and I probably should sort it out when I get back. And seriously? I'm wiped. Completely and utterly. The break's doing some good (Dom has declared herself Guardian of Amanda's Sanity), but I really don't think I'll be up for it. Whatever it is. If it's the business we came across last time we were there, with certain people you used to know... be careful, all right?
I'll bring you back something fun. There's these markets here... they sell _everything_.
