To: (Amanda, queen of iguanas)
From: (Angie)
Subject: I am insane.
I think I just volunteered for 5 AM wakeup calls.
Tell me I'm an idiot.
To: (jamiejamiejamiejamie)
From: (Angie)
Subject: I am more of an idiot than your roommate.
.. I have no idea how this happened but I think I just volunteered to get a set of leathers.
Except that I know exactly how it happened and I am blaming Asgard entirely and I believe I may be prattling on but Doug is taking a nap and I need to prattle on to someone.
Do you happen to know when exactly this idea became palatable to me? Was it when I smacked the goblins, because in that case, I think I need to find some more goblins to smack.
To: (Paige)
From: (Angie)
Subject: Swords and fighting.
Remember how you said I was not bad at it?
I think I just volunteered to get a lot better. Are the rumors about 5am wakeup calls true?

The X-Men part. I mean, that's where you're trying to say you're thinking about going, right? I think you'd be good at that.
5 AM isn't really all that early. You'll get used to it? :)
And, lessee, what do I have in inventory . . . okay, I've got chocolate chip cookies, three-kinds-of-chip cookies, double chocolate brownies, fudge, peanut butter fudge, white chocolate fudge, and this experiment I'm trying where it's fudge, sandwiched between pieces of Hershey bar, with white chocolate drizzled on it.
Ack.

Gah. You said it. If you say it I have to admit it and then I have to think about the part where I still have to tell my parents.
That is going to go over about as well as trying to convince my mother that I am ... maybe I can just tell her that Joan of Arc would ..
That conversation with them is going to end badly no matter what I do.
That is a lot of chocolate. Do you need a test subject for the experiment?

Well, assuming Kitty's OK with it, eventually you might be able to tell her that the Savior's watching your back? :)
I always want test subjects for my experiments. Interested?

That was entirely too long for a email nickname.
I am not so much worried they will say no as that it will send my mother off on another Joan of Arc obsession. Asgard did not help there at all.
Very interested. Should I bring one of those blue notebooks we used in Biology for taking down data in experiments?

Don't suppose that pointing out that the X-Men don't do much in the way of liberating France would help?
Either way, think of it this way: at least she hasn't started thinking Doug is Gilles de Rais. :)
You can if you want. I don't tend to get very statistical when I'm inventing desserts, but you might want to use one as a plate, or something . . .
