What do you mean that was quick? It took me forever to catch on! Miles knew all along! Miles! GAH!
She patched up his arm, yes. I took care of the leg and I'm grumbly at you. It was a perfectly nice leg and it didn't need a hole in it. Or his arm, either. I like him without holes, you know.
Fine. Not peeved. But grumbly! Grnmmgnl.
ps - I didn't feel like posting it openly for some reason. Who're your kids among our lot of delinquents or less misbehaved fallen angels?
I wouldn't be surprised if there was betting among the kids. Isn't there usually?
I know you like him without holes. I actually prefer him without holes, too. If for very different reasons. If it's any consolation, Moira scolded me and I'm supposed to see Charles about why it's bad to blow up my fellow teachers. And kill indiscriminately in the field. And torture people for information. It'll probably be a long lecture.
Nate
PS: Amanda and Angelo, obviously. Rahne, Angie, Jane... I'm sure I'm missing a couple.
But I'm laughing now and there's no way I'm telling Haroun that.
He's very nice wihtout holes. They had better be different reasons. Ha.
Charles' won't make it a lecture, you know. He never really lectures - it's kinda scary when he gets you like that and you walk out wondering why you feel like you should have been yelled at and you weren't. Did that make any sense at all?
Grr. And Giggle.
Ps: Yeah, those two I knew about, obviously. There's the ones that are regular and the ones that just crop up out of the blue and you wonder why the chose to talk to you, but don't complain about it in the least, huh?
Something tells me he might take it amiss. Call it an instinct.
I'm not so much afraid of the lecture as the inevitable comments about backsliding.
Nate
PS: Well, Angie and Rahne are pretty much regular... although Rahne rarely needs much in the way of mentoring. I think she's really a wise old Scotswoman masquerading as a sixteen year-old.
...when I see it. And sleeping alone last night wasn't a Good Idea. And - oh, shush you. Pbbbhht!
Yes, it is. And I hear you. I'm not either. But we're both mature enough to do that without permanent damage being involved. I trust you. Waiting is part of the smart thing to do, mmm?
Alison
PS: Tell me about it. But Amanda listened when I told her to go see Moira and that was appreciated to no end.
Subject: Your WHAT?
Date: 2004-10-31 12:42 am (UTC)And I hardly intended to. It was an accident. I apologized, Moira patched him up. Don't be peeved?
Nate
Subject: Boyfriend. Honestly...

Date: 2004-10-31 01:30 am (UTC)I think maybe we'll be wanting to have more talk on this face to face when neither of us is still so raw on the matter. How's that sound?
Alison
PS: Rahne is like that. Wonderfully sane. Jamie pulls it off nicely too. He's one of my own, lovely, lovely by that he is.
Subject: You sure move fast...
