Subject: Now that I am not longer sick
Mr. al-Rashid,
I apologize for having to postpone our meeting last week. But now that I appear to have made a complete recovery, I am ready for Krav Maga, if you still are.

Good!
Date: 2004-11-02 03:33 am (UTC)Bring yourself plus water and a medkit down to the Gym tomorrow night. 8PM work for you? I'll show you the basics, maybe spar a little so I can get a feel for how you fight now. Then we'll start talking about Krav Maga and how it can complement your existing style, open somne new doors for you.
Salaam,
Haroun
How do you say good in Jewish?
Date: 2004-11-02 03:42 am (UTC)What should I dress in? I have a gi, but I usually train in loose drawstring pants and a t-shirt. I don't need to wear one of those Jewish hats for Krav Maga, do I?
-Shiro
No, you very definitely do not need a Jew-hat.
Date: 2004-11-02 03:46 am (UTC)Wear street clothes. Krav is designed to be done at full effectiveness when you're on the street, and unless you're some sort of sick freak weirdo you don't normally wear your pretty gi out on the street.
Salaam,
Haroun
And I don't need those long sideburns either?
