I saw you talking about page-turning gizmos in Illyana's journal, and I was thinking that it might make a good surprise for Alison - she can't turn pages very well, with the pain, and she's got a lot of awake time on her hands. Do we have one of those, or if not, where would we get one? Money's not an issue if we have to ship it in order something.

Well, I bet Doc McCoy or Forge could put one together pretty quickly . . . otherwise, if money still isn't an issue when it's thirty-five hundred dollars of money, Zygo's got what looks like a pretty good one here (http://www.zygo-usa.com/blv6.htm)--although they explain how it works really well, too, and it doesn't look that hard to do, so homemade might be quicker and cheaper.

*nods* Let's try and fast and cheap version first, more for the fast than anything... Can you tackle Forge? He seems to think I'm some scary sex-fiend or something - tends to walk very quickly the other way when he sees me coming. *snickers* Hank I'll be seeing in medlab sometime in the next day or two, but he's sort of stretched with the Jono thing, so probably best we go via the Boy Genius. Tho' if his ego gets any more inflated, he'll have to tie his head on with string so it doesn't float away. Not that he doesn't _deserve_ to have the ego - the docs weren't exaggeratign about the whole life-saving thing.

Looks like he's just gonna whip one up out of spares and bring it to her sometime tonight--man, that guy does fast work. If you wanna stop by to see how she's doing with it later, that oughta work--you weren't kidding about the walking the other way fast, though.

The thing is, I didn't even do anything. I just ran into him wearing one of Manny's shirts. We were having a good old natter before he realised that guy's shirt = possible sex, and then he couldn't get away fast enough. *shakes head* Good thing he wasn't around when I first got here - I, um, had a way of testing out what people wanted from me that would have made the top of his head blow off. Note past tense - no coming onto everyone I meet anymore. ;)
