Subject: I had an idea.

I dunno if you've seen my journal post yet or if Doc MacTaggart's told you, but apparently I make my dupes out of astral ectoplasm.  Is that anything like what you were trying to teach Jono to do, and if it is, is there anything I can do to, I dunno if maybe he could watch me dupe and maybe see how I get the stuff for it and organize it into a body, or . . . really, I gotta think there's something I can do with this now I know what it is.  But I figure you'd know if anyone would, because you've got the experience with this kind of thing.  What do you think?

Believe me, Moira told me in exquisite detail - I had to do the fiance thing and admire her genius, not that I have any problem whatsoever doing that.

Seriously, though, I do think this has possibilities. Askani was fairly sure, after all, that there was an option for Jono even if it turned out that his original body couldn't be salvaged. I'm not sure whether that involved pulling raw material from the astral plane or not - I'm still not hearing them very well yet. You and I should definitely talk, though.

She really is scary smart. I mean, who would've thought ectoplasm? Who would've known the difference between ectoplasm and regular matter when they were looking at it under a microscope?

. . . Is that what Askani's doing, when she's solid, or is she just making your telekinesis push back so it feels right?

Anyway, I'm around whenever you've got a minute. I hope we can figure something out that'll work.

What the Askani do when they manifest is one of those mysteries I haven't managed to solve yet. I really ought to turn Moira loose on that, too.

Tomorrow? I have more minutes than I usually do, since I'm not allowed to train until my concussion's certified as completely gone.

Oh, but you know me and my predilection for those TMI moments... you wouldn't spoil my fun, would you?

I'll come hunt you down sometime tomorrow afternoon, then. And the head is much improved, on the whole. Although Moira keeps making comments about how I'm headed for early senility if I keep up the head injuries. Then I point out that I'm there already and she laughs.
