To: [elf to the rescue] From: [doctor in distress]
How about Friday night? There's a showing in Salem Center at 8.30. I don't feel like I should get too far away from the school, so Salem Center's probably best.
I'll sort out the time off with Moira and Hank in the morning. If you're having a restless night, I'm on night shift - there was something of a breakthrough with things, so the other two are asleep right now.
Good. You may have to drag me out of the medlab to remind me, but yes, Friday good. ;)
Company would also be good. Alison will probably be by at some point, but in the meantime, it's awfully quiet down here...
We're not positive on the breakthrough, beyond that we've solved a long-standing conumdrum for Hank, but it's entirely possible it'll help Jono as well. Fingers crossed, eh/
Oh, speaking of Alison, that reminds me... She told me you needed an assistant for dance class? I've checked the schedules, and I'm free, if you want me. Mainly because I couldn't resist the dreaded Kitty Eyes of Doom.
*laughs* I'm sure they would. We're taking turns with the pointy stick down here...
Jono's condition is stable. He's communicating, and doesn't seem to be in undue distress, and there's been not further explosions. I guess that could be considered 'doing well'.
I wouldn't offer if I minded, silly elf. *smiles* I can't guarantee I'll be much of a teacher, but I won't break your toes. And hey, if I do... doctor, remember? ;)
Well, good. As long as you are all getting the sleep you need.
Is he allowed visitors - I assume he can communicate with everyone, as he always did, and not just with the telepaths? I may come to see him, if he is.
I am sure you will be a better teacher than you think. And I know you are a good enough dancer not to break my toes - I was at the HeliX dance, remember.
It took a little while to get the whole roster organised, considering the skills needed with Jono and all, but we're getting there.
Check with Hank or Moria - to be honest, they've been working the most with him. I'm just in holding pattern tonight, making sure he's all right, but I don't think visitors would be a bad thing. Certainly he'd probably like to see a new face or two. 'See' being a relative term...
The HeliX dinner... oh. That stunt Haroun and I pulled. *blushes* Um, all right, no broken toes...
If he is stable, then surely there could be times when both Hank and Moira are off duty... perhaps on the understanding that they are to be woken if anything changes?
I will ask them, then.
I feel I should warn you at this point that dance class now includes Monet St. Croix. She was... encouraged... by her parents to take the class, is not entirely happy about it, and she can be... abrasive.
Tonight, in fact - Jono's stable enough for the other two to get some rest, and I'm keeping and eye on things.
Monet? *squeaks* Okay, I haven't had a lot to do with her so far - the girl doesn't get sick, although those fugue states of hers gave us a bit of a headache for a while - but hey, I've dealt with Illyana down here for extended periods, so abrasive I can take.
This is sounding like a massive conspiracy to ensure I don't take too many nights. Then again... *rereads previous journal entries* I get rather strange on not enough sleep. Point taken. But yes, there is alternating. Two nights on, four off, at least until we empty the medlab.
Bless Kitty. Love that girl - she kept me sane on some of the above-mentioned too many nights...

Definitely fingers crossed. Although I hear he is doing as well as could be expected, in his new form?
...That would be wonderful. I had not realised how hard it would be to run the class alone. So, if you do not mind...?
