Mr. Summers,
You had mentioned earlier that some of the cars in the garage could be used for short errands by the students who had valid drivers' licenses. I was wondering if I could use one this afternoon to make a run down into Salem Center. I know that we have folks who can teleport in and out or fly there, but I think you understand better than most that there's a lot to be said for getting behind the wheel and running your own errands. Ms. Maximoff and I have been working on the old Jeep, but it's not exactly roadworthy yet.
Doctor Samson also suggested in conversation that I ought to make use of some of the outdoor facilities on the grounds. No one has exactly filled me in on what those are, though.

Date: 2004-12-02 07:16 pm (UTC)As you do have a valid driver's license, you're welcome to use one of the vehicles out of the pool. There's a sign out/sign in sheet down in the garage that should tell you what's available at any given time. The gas tanks should all be full, but if for any reason they're not and you need to fill up while you're out, just keep the receipt.
As for outdoor facilities... well, obviously the outdoor pool is closed for the season. We do have some fairly extensive walking/running trails, along with a large number of horses available to ride. There are even a couple of small boats that can be taken out on the lake if you're inclined.

Date: 2004-12-02 07:19 pm (UTC)I believe I'll pass on the horses (animals seem to dislike me - don't ask me about Catseye, I can't explain it either) and the boats (can't swim). But Dr. Bartlet has told me that the walking trails are worth a look.
