The kids all got here okay. They're hyperactive and sleep-deprived and I'm just waiting for the first fight to break out. The obvious money is on Jubilee and Amanda, but I have my eye on a few other candidates.

Vegas is as tacky as it ever was, and the psi-suppressant gear in the casino hurts. Haroun is a bit morose about being away from Alison, Amanda's worried about Manuel, Doug's fretting still about Angie, and I want to kill LeBeau. No, not really. But a bit of smacking around wouldn't be a bad thing, would it? So long as I didn't actually break him.

I know, I know. I'll be good. But I miss you horribly.

Oh, right. The telepath thing. Which, by the way, is turning out to be a liability - LeBeau and I swung by to take a look at the casino, and I can hardly stand being in the damned place. This is not your average psi-suppressant and jamming gear.

I assume Charles has probably passed along the news that all is comparatively well - he and I had our daily check-in this morning. But to reiterate, the kids all got here safely and seem in relatively good spirits, given the situation. I'm keeping a close eye on Amanda, obviously. I am not liking her part in this plan, especially after everything she's just been through. We won't get into how much I trust LeBeau with her, because that would just be catty.

I'll keep you updated.

That, and if it all goes to shit you stand a better chance of getting more of them out alive than I do. And yeah, I know, I know, but it ain't like either of us had a better plan, and she did bloody well in Istanbul.

But yes, I'm entertaining myself seeing how many feasible exit strategies I can come up with. Problem is, if something goes wrong it'll probably go wrong in that bloody casino, which makes things tricky. I'm wishing the Pack was along now, but we've never operated on American soil and this probably isn't the time to start.

I'll tell her you're checking on Manuel. Do a favor and look in on Moira for me while you're at it?
