Good morning, all.

No doubt you're expecting me to be up in arms about the sudden departure of my student for Las Vegas, but this is where I will actually surprise you. By one of those strange coincidences that Mr Wisdom will tell you are so very common with the mystic arts, Las Vegas is very close to a site called the Valley of Fire, and that is exactly the type of place I was considering taking Amanda to myself as soon as possible. As I discussed with Moira, she needs a clean power source to counter the effect Selene's power had on her, and the Valley of Fire is such a place.

Nathan, since you're there with her, it'll be up to you. I'll attach directions to the site, and you'll need to take her there as soon as you can. Especially considering the amount of magic this mysterious errand is going to require - she sent me a list of the spells she's intending to use, and the time period, and this is going to be extremely hard on her. I'll give her what assistance I can, but with this distance that is going to be restricted to the area of advice and some meditation drills.

I won't insult you by asking that you all take care of her - you have far more claim on that than I do. But please, keep me informed? I'll be there in a heartbeat if I'm needed.

She'll be there as soon as I can get her there. Our 'errand' is time-critical enough that it might not be possible until the weekend. But I'll keep a very close eye on her and make sure she knows she needs to tell me if she's getting too drained and it has to be sooner.

And I will keep you updated.
