It was a training and logistics day. Spent most of it acquiring a few clothing items to fit my part, riding herd on the kids, and keeping Nathan from going out of his mind.

She might be just a bit. She's very scary with a shotgun, you know? Just saying. I'd send you the sound dampening earplugs, but I'm going to need them. FBI outing has to happen this week, which reminds me to email Madelyn - she'd offered to come along already and I'm taking her up on that. I think that'd fall under the "will make Moira tetchy" category as well. Sorry.
They can't keep the trial on hold forever and they need me to show up for it. It means going over to answer questions a few times before even going near a courthouse, for one thing. And maybe I can spare the rest of the kids having to go through that. Just maybe. I'm already a public figure - they don't need that as well, not for this kind of thing.
If they're willing to let me out for shopping, then we should. Even if the thought of it scares me. Which I hate admitting to. Eh.
And we'll just have to see about making this Christmas special for you too now, won't we?

It's MacInnis. I won't underestimate the man, although I think at this point he knows better than to try and outright bring me to harm. Besides - it'd serve no purpose whatsoever for him to do so. He'd stand to lose far more than he'd gain.
