Emails to Romany, Pete and Amanda

I just thought I'd let you both know that I spoke to Wagner today. He turned up at my door wanting to talk. He seems to be saying the right things, but being blind as a bat with intermittent telepathy does not leave me particularly confident of my own judgement at the moment. I don't get the sense that he's going to try and pressure her, at least. Which is the important thing for now, I think?
If there's anything I can do when she gets to Muir, or from there in the interim, let me know. I'll listen if she wants to talk about it, of course. Dom's leaning over my shoulder as I dictate this saying ditto for her and Berlin, but whether that's a good thingOWW! Domino! [indecipherable]
Sorry. Anyway. I'm about to go try stairs for the first time since my little first-aid accident, so I'll just email Amanda before I log off here. I've heard about the Wisdom family Christmases, so I'm not sure have fun is the appropriate word. But try, anyway?

Having fun? Not too much fun, I hope. You've spent entirely too much time around Dom and her idea of fun. Joking! Well, sort of. Dom says hi, by the way. She's leaning over my shoulder as I dictate this. Also, apparently your Christmas present from her is still in Berlin and you'll get it when you get there. I guess it's something I wouldn't approve of because her laughter is sounding very evil.
I just wanted to make sure that I emailed you before I left, in case the weather is as bad on Muir as they're expecting it to be. There have been times that Moira and I have been quite effectively cut off from the outside world. Not that we've really minded, and I doubt either of us will be shedding any tears for a convenient storm over Christmas that'll keep us in the castle with nothing else to do but spend time with each other.
Anyhow. I hope you have a good time with Pete and Romany, and that Manuel manages to enjoy himself too. I'll be glad to see you when you get to the island. Maybe you can steer the blind man around for a nice walk in the snow and we can have one of those long, involved conversations if you want.
Take care,
Nate

You probably won't get this until you get to the island - bloody time difference. But still, hopefully the storms will let one little email get through... Any way, got here all right, and things are going all right. Could be better, thanks to some last minute drama that you probably know about since Pete said he got it from the staff list. I probably should have said, but I wanted time to think about it all. Then of course everything happened with Marko and all, so that idea went out the window. Still, Pete and Rom know now, and I've passed on the stuff Wanda found for me onto them, so I'll give it a couple of days and try and figure out what I want to do.
Hah.
Otherwise, yeah, I'm having a good time. Finished my shopping, mostly, and had fun dragging Manuel around various parts of London. He seems to like it well enough - new places are easier than old ones for him, I think. And it's nice, being a normal girl out with her boyfriend. No shite to do with powers, or him being an arse; there's the whole part where he has trouble keeping his hands off me, but I won't go into that. *grins* Rom thinks its cute, tho' she keeps giving him these odd looks, like she's trying to figure something out. I s'pose with his memory gone his aura looks off or something.
Better go - it's dinner time, and apparently I still don't eat enough. See you in a bit - take care, both of you, yeah? Tell Moira I said hi, give her a hug from me.
Love,
Amanda.
