We're leaving tomorrow for the Madroxes, but I wanted to give you your present before I go. Of course, you can't open it yet, but I figure I still owe you a few hugs and it'll still be fun to hand it to you properly. There's a few others I'm just making arrangements with Lee to have snuck in their rooms at the right time for those who are staying here, or in luggage as they go… but not you.
It'll be weird to be away, this year.
I'll be wandering over soon, now.

I have a few packages to give you before you go. Of course, you get to lug them about when you head back home and you're not at all allowed to open them until Christmas eve proper.
Because I am evil and sadistic that way. Nyah!
Find me if you want them!

I keep finding packets of Lifesavers on my desk. I think I know the wench to blame.
I'll definitely be finding you, since I have packages to give you. Bwahahaha! And you thoguth you were going to get away without excess baggage!
There's two for Miles - one in Christmas paper and one in birthday paper. Since I ended up being the organised one and writing the rosters for the holidays and couldn't escape to go shopping. He can open the green one straight away, since it'll probably help entertain him on the plane - it's a big puzzle/coloring book with a pack of crayons. No annoying beeping noises. ;)

Moi? Would I ever do such a wenchly thing?
Are you kidding? I am the queen of travel, I'll have you know. And as such, I still have an empty suitase. Bring it on! Muahahahahaha!
Coloring books and crayons are always good and we never have too many of them. And you're kidding me, right? You could have given him a drum set and kazoo, and I'd be perfectly fine with it. There is no such thing as too much noise.
Which reminds me. We're going to set up that 'regular sonic exposure' thing when I get back, right? The theory that I wasn't getting enough sound as compared to when I used to tour being why I went boom kinda freaks me out just a bit.

Oui, you.
You know, now I'm tempted to wrap a couple of house bricks in Christmas paper, just to show you...
And I was thinking more of Haroun and the other passengers with the too much noise thing. Not everyone thrives on it like you do. And yes, we will be looking into that whole side of things when you get back. Lots of nifty tests, invented just for you. *eg*

Hrm. I'll have to think about that. Really.
That's okay. All my luggage is on wheels anyway. Besides, it'll be something for Haroun to complain about. ;)
You know, you may have a point there - though Miles never has been noisy in those situations. He tends to be dead quiet around people he doesn't know...
Oh yay! More tests! Actually, I'm curious now. ...maybe you should check my head while we're at it. Gyah!
