Alas, all Jay's sandwiches are gone, because I was hungry. Nevertheless, I find myslef in need of assistance that you seem exceptionally suitable for. I've been advised of the fact that you're both frighteningly clever and indubitably devious - two qualities I admire. However, the important quality you possess is the fact that you happen to be the older sister of my suitemate, who has been in a state of advanced moping since I got here.
He needs to lighten up. If *I* have to be in a good mood, everyone has to be in a good mood. However, waiting for it to happen naturally with Joshua seems to be on a timetable equivalent with Middle Eastern peace talks. Thus, I feel it necessary to take drastic and direct action. Altruistically, of course.
You, being his sister, must know things. What in the world does he enjoy besides that damn twangy guitar of his? Seems like he's always just brooding and playing. I am not above subterfuge and, dare I say it, a practical joke or two to get him to actually laugh.
Because once HE gets it into his system, he'll have no choice but to help get revenge on Clarice for pranking Kyle. He may be a dork, but he's OUR dork, and I am offended that someone managed to embarass him before I could.
I await any help you have to offer.

I don't know who you've been talking to but please, point me in their direction. I'm going to have exams again this year and will be in need of an ego boost, or someone willing to lie to me, which is probably closer to the truth.
However, I suppose I am somewhat brilliant, and if not that then certainly evil of the mischievous kind and all failing certainly Jay's older sister. That one we're positive about, although, I'm sure he's still trying to get DNA tests and assuring everyone that he's adopted. Either way, I did live with him for several years in closer than I sometimes liked quarters, so it's safe to say that I Know a couple things.
Jay's first love is music. It will always be music. He is music, music is he. Regular child protege if he actually bothered to do some work once in a while. He puts Sam and I to shame but if you repeat that I will trounce you and noogie until you bleed.
Other than music is difficult, since it does take up 90% of his brain. The 10% that is left, generally focuses around, well. He's a little bit of a romantic. By little bit I mean giant. Likes the chick-flicks, likes the poetry, Shakespeare is his muse, that sort of thing. I know this is a very large test of your ability to stay sane in insane situations, but I don't think he'd mind going out to a movie now and again, even if he'll denydenydeny.
He's very good at that.
Thanks for taking such good care of him. It means a lot, especially right now. If you need me for anything, anything at all, just let me know. I'm more than willing to help.
