I've put together some quick slideshows of the documentation I've finished on Dr. Wallace's design - I managed to figure out that hidden application layer. It's a telepresence system, the same thing Dr. Wallace designed to control the NASA repair satellite from orbit? Odds are he's got a system set up to control the squid via telepresence, go out and literally catch his fish himself. Eccentric, but elegant.
The _01 documentation is some modifications I've fabricated for the physical design and also the telepresence network. Some of his work with neural induction is similar to what my prosthetic implants operate on, and I'm going to pursue that a little further with Dr. MacTaggart's permission, since she's checking up on the medical aspects of my artificial limbs. Do you know when she's going to be back from Scotland, by the way?
You mentioned another project along the lines of the photoabsorptive fabric I designed for Ms. Blaire? From the scanning stuff you've had going in the lab, I gather that it's a high-frequency EM issue, possibly up into the cosmic ray scale? Interesting. I look forward to hearing more.

Date: 2005-02-02 01:40 am (UTC)I have no idea when Dr. McTaggart will be home, but I hope it will be soon. Until then, I'll be happy to fill in... what exactly did you want checked out? And do email and let her know what's going on, I'm sure she'd like to be kept in the loop.
The other project is a containment suit for Alex... I'm attaching some documentation, so you know exactly what we're dealing with. Essentially, he's broadcasting low-level radiation of an unusual sort... not immediately harmful, but we'd rather not have anyone exposed to too much of it. Please let me know as soon as you have any ideas for it.
