The Professor has suggested to me that it might help you with your powers if I taught you some of the lucid dreaming techniques I know. They're not a 'fix' by any means, and they're certainly more successful for some people than for others, but if you'd be interested in trying I'd be happy to teach you.

We were on the Blackbird. And MacInnis was there. And Haroun, and Kurt. And MacInnis was telling us he was one of the founders of Mistra.
Oh, wait. Not a dream.
Fuck. I still can't settle down enough to write this report. I even took a sleeping pill last night because I couldn't settle down. I slept, woke up groggy as hell, and my head is still spinning. I always figured there had to be a lot we didn't know about him, but...
I have no idea how I'm going to settle down enough to teach this afternoon.

Lucid dreaming? isn't that when you dream and you're awake? I don't mean a day dream, but a dream where you're awake? oh I'm not making any sense. But I would appreciate any help you could give, the Professor told me what I was doing - I had no idea. And of course, you cannot undo a wrong.

That was a lot to take in all at once, and I'm not even at the heart of it, too. Look - I've got a report of my own already filed in the database. Leave off for yours a bit longer, if that helps? I think I got the essential stuff down.
As for teaching... give it a shot anyway? The distraction might be actually good for you. But, if you think it's still unwise to teach by the time you get to class, send the kids off to the library and come find me, yeah? We'll figure something out then.
I'm... not exactly the perfect picture of calm and steady myself now, but we'll figure something out.
