Have a few books that just arrived - some of them you'd like I think. I'm thinking of indulging in some serious reading catching up this evening, in the rec room. Care to join me?

Sorry for falling asleep like that yesterday. Make up for it today? I have time this afternoon...

PS. So, did you like the fudge?

Well, sorta. I got a bit elaborate, but I think there might be something happening, regarding what you emailed me about. I'll keep an eye on Samson's schedule in the coming days and keep you updated.

Anika,

You know, sometimes I hate admitting that maybe something I think is horrendously stupid maybe isn't even if I think it is? You get the idea.

If Mick were to do something like that, best situation involves it being with Tim around. Optimal for both of them. They'll back each other up, command and second. And probably swipe the entire lot of operatives MacInnis has right from under his nose. I kinda like that notion. Rat Bastard deserves it - his methods stink.

Doesn't mean howling in protest isn't warranted. And... I guess I'm saying I hate the idea and wish you'd both stay away and safe, but if wishes were horses... and I figure if Mick's going, someone has to go along and ride herd on both he and Tim so they don't do something (else) that's abysmally stupid.

I'm going to go grumble at Tim now. Sorta. At least I'm going to see about the pick-up being nearby. I'd like to see you all.

Alison

PS - Also? How long has it been since we got him out that he's done that? Not backed down?

So when you lot meet-up for you to pick up your new second, mind doing that in NY? I'd like to check up on you myself, for one thing. For I am a suspicious sort and do not trust MacInnis as far as I can get, oh, say, Colossus to throw him. In a nice tornado like day. With lots of lightning added to the mix and stuff to.

I could go on.

With Paige, subtle is good. I've already stomped in with my size eights, so let's hope you have more luck.

Hands-on as we're looking to do some tweaking to try and reduce the flow as much as we can without hurting him. No guarantees, but Forge is pretty convinced this will work, and I'm willing to trust his judgement.

*hugs* I know, hon. And I still feel awful for having to tell you to back off in the first place. Let alone the way I did it.

That would be the part on the announcement about Hank's condition where I smacked down the obviously not-dealing girl pretty hard. We've cleared it up since, mostly, but I have the feeling if I suggested anything along those lines, she wouldn't take it from me. And it runs in the family. *sighs* Never mind, not a problem.

Wah if you need to, hon, although I'm doing all I can. Paige and Forge have been invaluable. I really don't know what I would have done without them.

And I didn't know, but I suspected something was up. After I talked to you I ran the tests on him. So yeah, bad news twice in one day.

Because you're thinking constantly about sex because it's like trying not to think about the elephant?

Maddie.
