Bobby,

I was thinking about what you told me yesterday, and there's something I think might help. I want you to know, first, I'm not gonna push you into anything and if you don't agree to this, I'll drop it. But sometimes when there's something that's difficult to talk about, it helps to have a little push.

So here's what I was thinking - I give you, say, a month (or however long you think you'll need) to work up the nerve, will, whatever you wanna call it, to talk about this - 'cause I know how much it's not easy. After the time's up, if you say I can now, I go to Alison or whoever else you want and I tell them myself.

Now, this is completely up to you. All you have to do is say you don't want me to, and that's the end of it. But I think it might be worth thinking about...
