I was talking to Dr. McCoy about it last week. Apparently it's not all about the dating stuff, he says. I mean, I went out for coffee with Paige and did just fine talking. I don't know HOW, mind you, and there's nothing there in the dating type area (she's already got two boyfriends, remember?).

But even without his power, women seem to want to hang out with and talk to Manuel. Or apparently just jump his bones, and there has got to be some trick to it.

Hey, I told Dani I'd take her out for burgers to make up for her being such an irrational twit yesterday - I'll see if she'll settle for coffee. We will need disguises.

You promised Dani a backrub. Under normal circumstances I would question your ulterior motives.

See, it's like industrial espionage. When there's a rumor that, say, Chrysler's coming out with a new car, the folks from Ford are going to want to know what it is so they can build one just as good. Theft of trade secrets is a time-honored business tradition.

So if we find out what Manuel's secret is, we're free to make use of it ourselves. I mean, if it comes up.

So we ... watch him and figure out what his secret weapon is? What if its that he's Spanish? I mean, then we're f'ed.

It went pretty well. Ran around in the trees, scared the crap out of some deer, she went all Grr at it from the other side and then yay, fresh venison, yum.

If it's that he's Spanish? No, that's too easy. I've known too many Spaniards. Besides, I speak Spanish. It's not exactly the language of love, more like the language of cheap migrant labor. No, he's crafty - he knows how to talk to women and woo them, and his secrets shall be ours. He may have years of class and experience and breeding, but he's no super-genius.

I think there's, like, a difference between Mexican and Spanish. I dunno, I only remember how to ask for the bathroom.

And yeah, she changes into a wolf, but I wasn't looking. dude, that's just wrong. I mean, we were chasing deer. Sides, she does a half-girl-half-wolf thing so I think anything important would get covered up by fur. Mostly she was a wolf though.
