Okay,
So, you're like the only person I can even concieve of being up this late and the library is way too quiet and spooky. So, I'm just going to prattle on at you for awhile till I don't feel like I'm going to turn around and see some Japanese chick with long hair hiding her face. (Can you tell I watch too many horror films? Thought you could.)
Um...right, general conversation then. Seriously hard that.
*ponders* I thought I just heard a scritching sound. Dude, please God let that be a rat.

PS: If you find my horribly deformed body in the morning. Beware the video tape!

Surprisingly, you happened to catch me on the one day I actually crashed early. Horror movies rot your brain, no wonder you have hallucinations. I'm sure you can probably check with Mr. Lee if you have questions about the security tapes.
Since when do YOU stay up late studying?

Mostly since if I don't finals are going to be kicking my ass but good. (There was a moment there when I realised I'd actually like a grade other then F from all my classes.) And the inspirational speech by the Prof had a bit of an impact as well. Nothing like someone believing in you to get you moving.
And horror movies are mind candy, really. People watch them because they can't go out and almost get killed by large pedetory animals anymore. (There was this documentary on the Discovery channel all about it. Kinda cool, really.)
Then of course there's the classically bad horror movies like Godzilla (The originals, not the absolute horror, and not in a good way, that was the American remake.)
So, what movies do you watch?

I tend to watch the science documentaries. Surprise, surprise, I know. Like I told Jamie, I can't stand most sci-fi (focuses too much on the fiction at the expense of the science) and romances make me want to jump in front of a train. I do like Westerns, though. With their basis in Kurosawa, I've been considering trying to get Shiro to watch the Sergio Leone "spaghetti westerns" for a while.
I don't exactly have a normal class schedule, but I hear you on finals. If I don't figure out the trick to Mr. Dayspring's History class, I'll be lucky to skate by with a C-. And I managed to get my Music 102 grade up to a B- after the last exam. It's oddly exhilarating to be happily average at something.

Science documentaries can be fun. Although, I'm seriously not getting the heavy science. (I leave the whole Chemistry/Physics section of the world to you guys.) Still, I love that show...gah, can't remember what it's called. These guys find myths and then try and prove whether they actually work or not. It's pretty damn cool.
Kurosawa? I used to like the Clint Eastwood westerns. 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' is truly a classic. Those the kind you're talking about?
An I don't mind the occational romance. 'The Princess Bride' was the bomb.
Hmm, if you like hard Sci-fi, I saw this set of books in the library before. Looked like compilations of the short stories authors sent into sci-fi magazines. Not much of a reader, least I wasn't till recently.
*grins* Although, totally borrowing those set of oragami books when I've got the time to actually sit down and read them.
