Hey,
Ain't seen you around much lately, an well, when you are you're not exactly looking carefree and bushy tailed. Of course, there's a half dozen people probably already making sure you're eating and all that jazz but thought I'd ping you anyhow.
I left those assignments on your desk, ahead of schedule even. (Yes, the library late at night seems to be conductive for getting things done. Who'd have thought?) That's actually where I am now, the library that is.
So...you okay?

Date: 2005-03-11 02:12 pm (UTC)I wouldn't have much choice if I got horrible marks. (Least, that's the excuse I'm giving my brain when it protests all the facts I'm cramming into it right now.)
Dude, I so want a trip to the beach. I crave the beach, and actual sunlight. May take a trip out to California once this finals thing is all over, take a few days to visit every tourist trap between here and Cali, and then lie around on the beach for a whole bunch of time.
Hank did say he'd let me drive his blue car...wonder if he'd let me drive it all the way to Cali if I took him with.

Date: 2005-03-11 02:35 pm (UTC)So, we're studying the great wars, right? And I've got the history books here in front of me, and I'm actually reading through them. (Dude, so interesting once you really sit down and read. Especially all the little personal account thingies.)
So, you were a mercenary, right? I guess I'm asking for a personal opinion then, from someone whose been involved in fighting. (Although, not sure if you've ever been involved in the war type thing but anyway.)
Why'd they do it? I mean, you'd think after the first great war someone would have sat back and thought 'violence on a massive scale = bad...and also = destructive and hard to recover from.'

And because I was angry and I just wanted to blow shit up and kill people.
That answer the question?
