Emails to Forge, Jubilee

Hey Forge!
Gah. So sorry about not emailing you earlier. Ever noticed how life sometimes speeds up and you blink and it's next week? That's what it's been like since I got back to school. My professor's were a bit pissed with the whole extra week away, not to mention the editors at the paper, but once I gave them my Columbia article, they decided I was a goddess among men and promptly made me a regular writer. Isn't that cool? I have a byline and everything.
Any way. Um. Here's a bunch of stuff for you from the group (yes, we're still working on that name thing, but the problem with us social justice types is sometimes we have to debate everything, and then we never have time for actual decisions *rolls eyes*), with a bunch of our upcoming actions, and what we've done in the past, and contacts at other schools and the rest. Hopefully that should help.
How are you? And everyone else? I'd love to come for another visit, but it'll have to be during break some time, especially with finals coming up. People keep expecting me to study, it's really inconsiderate. ;) I'd invade you guys again during Easter, only... Catholic, Mom would kill me if I missed the family service, and you might not have met my Mom, but think Mad, only older and more focussed on proper ways of behaving. And a more penetrating voice. *rolls eyes* Sometimes I'm tempted to tell her I'm gay or something, just to watch her head explode, you know? So conservative.
Better run, still have an essay on the fall of Marxism to finish by tomorrow. Jolt is so my new best friend.
Later!
Carlie.

Yo, Jubes!
Just a quick one tonight, since I have essays looming and I'm looking at an all-nighter, but I figured while I had the email open I'd drop you a note. Mad tells me you're doing the beavering thing yourself with the books, so maybe you won't have time either, but that's cool. Call you sometime for a study break? You will not believe who's asked me out.
Carls.

Wait, who are you again?
Just kidding, like I'd forget. Thanks for the material, it'll go a long ways to helping with getting this off the ground. I have a proposal written up and everything to give us some more footholds into making an actual change, instead of just the noise that youth PACs often make. Good things ahead, definitely.
I'm doing well, I believe. Classes are fine, with the exception of me praying for a meteor to land and get this week's History quiz rescheduled. And heck, you know you're welcome to invade and impose anytime. This place could always use a visit from Tropical Storm Carlie.
When in doubt on the fall of Marxism, blame Lenin. I have managed to pick that much up from Mr. Dayspring's history class. When in doubt, blame Lenin. Strangely, it doesn't work for the French Revolution, though...
