Emails to medlab staff; Remy

I visited Anika yesterday and took her on a short escape upstairs, and I have to say, the fresh air and lack of walls did her a lot of good. Looking at her charts, I can't really see a reason for keeping her in medlab - is there any chance of moving her into one of the guest rooms with the usual call button arrangement? I think it'd go a long way towards her recovering, both physically and mentally.
Also, I've made an appointment for Remy to undergo the usual staff physical tomorrow - Jean pointed out his medical records are out of date. He hasn't had a physical since the last time he was a patient, which was after that brain explosion.

Jean's brought to our attention that your medical files haven't been updated since you came back to the mansion. Consider yourself summoned - they're expecting you around 11am tomorrow.

Re: Anika
That oughtn't be a problem. I'll get things set up and we can move her when she wakes up this morning. I'll even see if I can get some plants from Ororo - some live, green growing things in her room might do her good.

Re: Anika
Perhaps I can help? Given that I'm on limited shifts, at the moment, but am still mostly mobile. I'll be upstairs most of the time that I'm not in the medlab, so I'll be able to get to her quickly if she needs assistance.

Excellent. She'll be thrilled to hear she's getting out. I won't be much help with the move itself, but if we put her on the staff level, those of us that aren't so much on active duty can keep an eye on her.

Sounds like a plan to me. There's an open room a few doors down from you, Madelyn, which ought to suit.

No. I have more important things to do then parade around in front of you with my shirt off, femme. Besides, this is the cold and flu season, and I'd rather not catch anything.

Don't flatter yourself - I've got far better things to do than have your skinny self on my exam table.
It's not optional - if we're to have any idea of what your baseline health is like we need to do that medical.

Look, Madelyn, I'll show you a magic trick.
Not optional medical check + Remy not showing up = medical check is optional.
I'm glad that you're so very anxious to lord your 'deperately required' presence over the rest of the school, but I've got important things to do without you trying to stick your fingers down my throat. So, go polish your stethoscope or something...

This is nothing to do with me or my depserately needed presence. It's about the medical staff having an idea of what passes for normal health for you so when you are hurt or sick we have something to work towards. So stop being such an asshole and go. If it helps, it won't be me doing the exam - I've had enough of your bitching to last me a lifetime.

Tell you what. When the comptetant red-headed doctor tells me I need a medical, I'll go. You, I figure this is your version of an exciting Friday night on the town.
