Stephen,
I am so _very_ sorry about not getting in touch with you. You've probably figured out, either on your own or through Amanda, that something came up with the X-Men. While in one piece, at least physically, I've been rather...reluctant to move around much. Now that I'm a little more healed, I think disappearing for a day or two in the woods would be the best thing for me.
...feel more than free to 'find' me at the end of those days, if you wish. I think some company that isn't dressed in leathers would also be good for me.
Wanda.

Dearest Wanda,
Don't apologise. I had indeed figured it out - with that much turmoil and stress so close and Amanda calling to cancel class yet again, I was aware something of some import was going on. Amanda also mentioned when she called me after your return that you had been hurt. Not too serious, I hope? And you are looking after yourself? It's very difficult to know how much fussing one is allowed to do in these sorts of circumstances without becoming too much the mother hen.
I understand the need to find one's centre again, and the need to be alone it requires. When you have found it, I'll be there. It might sound rather floridly romantic, but all you need to do is think of me, and I'll find you. Well, concentrate on me for a few minutes', actually, but the first is rather more poetic, don't you think?
Safe 'journey',
Stephen.
