Subject: Incident in town last Thursday night.
Marie might have mentioned this to you and I told Pete what happened, but now me heads straight and I'm not half out of me mind, I wanted to let you know proper. So there's no problems for the school.
Last Thursday night I had a spot of trouble with a couple of college blokes in town, near a biker pub called 'Willys' - I ain't sure exactly where. They recognised me from clubbing a few weeks ago, and decided they wanted some fun. They jumped me, were in the process of getting me kit off and I... I used magic to stop them. I know I wasn't supposed to be using it, and I haven't had a power source since that demon dimension, but I'd gotten something from someone I know and just reacted. I slammed one of them into a wall with the levitation spell, and the other... I'm not sure, I've never done it before, but I think I used some kind of shielding spell, a nasty one. It... fried his hands. Bad, I think. I didn't stop to check, I just ran. Holed up the night at one of those roadside rest stops, got a lift back here from one of the cleaners.
I ain't seen or heard anything about it, but then again I haven't been in the best shape to take notice. I'm sorry it happened - not that I defended meself, but because I was there in the first place when I shouldn't have been. I doubt they'll actually admit they was beaten up by a girl, 'specially one my size, but they got a pretty good look at me and might want to cause trouble. They don't know I'm from the school, I don't think. I'm sorry if I've caused any problems with security and whatnot - I know I ain't been that co-operative lately but I wouldn't want anyone hurt on my account.

Marie did fill me in on the incident, and the boys have been taken care of. The boy with the hands had some bad burns, but as far as I know at this point, he lost little movement or dexterity. The other was bruised and banged up, but I doubt there was little damage except to his pride.
As for the rest of it - Amanda, are you planning on going off by yourself again? If you are, then we will have a problem when you return. I realize that you may not be able to answer this right now, but I wanted you to be aware of it.

And apparently I've got some work ahead of me before she'll even consider it. But if I do get back, I'll remember what you said and come talk to you about it. I'm guessing Charlie and Randy have mates?
