Jay-

...man, I really have no idea what to say here. I know we ain't exactly been close lately, but I just...wanted to know if you're okay. How you're doing. Especially with Paige up and leaving. I'm worried, and I don't want to wake up tomorrow morning to find out you've left too because you're pissed off at everyone. So...if you want to talk or anything, I'll be around.

Sam,

If I walked up and left every time someone pissed me off, I'd've been gone a hundred times already. I'm hardly a flight risk. (No pun intended. Seriously. All the bandages and shit are off my wings, but I still can barely move them.)

And I'm just fine. Angry, but not about to do anything stupid. No need to worry.

*nods* I felt silly for asking, but prior to now, I wouldn't have said Gee was the sort to pack up and run off like that, either.

Glad to hear the wings are healing, if slowly. Maybe we could, I dunno, have some Guthrie brothers flying time when the docs say you're ready for it? And any help I can give in the meantime, just ask, all right?

I'm not so much angry as worried. But then, I wasn't exactly in the middle of this whole SOG mess, so I can understand angry.

P.S. Nope. No note, no nothing. Not that I probably shouldn't have expected that, considering how well Paige and I _don't_ get along lately... :-(

I might bitch and moan about this place, but Mama wants me here, so I won't leave.

Dunno when I'll be cleared for flight again, but I'll probably need some catch-up once they let me.

And does that annoy you? That you weren't part of SOG. I mean, you're a Guthrie. Doesn't sound very fair to me.

I'm more than willing to help you on the catching up once you're cleared.

Yes and no. I figure it's partly because I'm one of the older student/staff people, not of an age with everyone doing this thing. And partly because I've just been kind of quiet and aloof for a while, too.
